We raise our voices according to the Prince's words
After a while, the voices subside
We hear the voices of the occupants of the house again
"No one's coming out?"
The situation is so eerie that one of the soldiers makes a move.
"Ah, hey!"
He kicks down the door of a nearby house
In that room was a wooden box containing a small magic stone.
A circular, flat, black object is rotating under the wooden box.
"...No people?"
There's a sound coming from that wooden box.
What we were hearing was the voice coming from this wooden box.
"Hey! There's no one here either!"
"There's a wooden box over here too!"
We kick down the door at random to see what's inside.
And then we realized.
"…Hey, isn't there anyone in here?"
Another soldier is reporting to the prince.
When the prince heard the report, his face turned pale.
"All forces withdraw! All forces leave the capital!"
Everyone feels uneasy.
We quickly return to the entrance we came in through.
But it is too late.
"The door is closing!"
"Who is it? Who closed it!"
We are trapped in the capital
"Hey, do you hear that?"
"What now?"
I also notice it with those words
The ground is rumbling
It's a small, quiet sound.
It's getting louder and louder.
Some soldiers go up to the outer wall to see what it is.
"Hey, did you see something?"
"No, it's dark and I can't see clearly... wait... why!"
"Hey!"
"Water… water!"
Soldiers report outside with frightened expressions on their faces.
"Water! A huge amount of water is coming this way!"
"Water!"
"This place is a desert!"
It's coming from the direction of the Harness gold mine.
"The color is strange! The water is green!"
After a while, the water enters the castle town.
Green water with a peculiar smell soaks our legs
"What's this? It's like rotten eggs..."
Saying that, one soldier collapses.
"Hey! What's wrong..."
Another soldier tries to help the soldier up, but he falls down.
"Uu, uee, geehh!"
And then a bunch of soldiers start vomiting.
And then they just fall over.
"The city wall! Climb the city wall!"
The remaining soldiers climb onto the city wall and are frightened by the situation.
"I can’t believe a whole town is submerged under water…"
My legs start to hurt after a while
"M-my feet are hot!"
"My hand hurts! It hurts!"
"My eyes, I can't see. Somebody help me!"
I feel an abnormal heat in my legs
When I took off my shoes, a severe blister spread out.
"W-what is this!"
One by one, panicked soldiers fall into the green water.
Fortunately or unfortunately
I miraculously survived, unable to stand up due to the pain in my legs
