Golden Skull United Forces VS Blackbeard Pirates, 2nd Round 1
"Please give this magic bag to Anne-san. And please give this to the Sebastian brothers."
"I understand!"
Shiro hands a magic bag containing a pirate ship to the junior leader of the Golden Skull Pirates, who is heading to the mansion.
Onigashima is a natural fortress.
Except for the area where the port is located, the cliffs prevent enemy invasion.
The only place where the enemy can enter is the harbor, which was originally well-defended and has no unnecessary buildings.
As long as the ships can be managed, the damage to the Mary Anne and Drake pirates can be reduced to almost zero.
"Now we don't have to worry about our ship being destroyed by the Blackbeard Pirates!"
Boom*!
While we were talking, the Blackbeard Pirates began firing at the Golden Skull.
"Shiro! The plan is to use the Golden Skull to sink as many of the Blackbeard Pirates' ships as possible, right?"
"Yes! The strategy is to avoid ships with a top brass on board, and only target ships with subordinates on board, to reduce the number of people landing on Onigashima as much as possible!"
What we do is almost the same as the previous round.
We just have to stay away from the mothership with Blackbeard on board and the ship with Merlin on board, and sink as many of the Blackbeard pirates' ships as possible.
Well, it's simple, but I can say that this is the best strategy.
As I said before, Onigashima is home to 30 oni people descendants of the Ancestor, 1,000 ogres, and over 100 vampires with titles.
It would be a waste not to use this.
"Then let's go!"
""Roger!""
Just like last time, Shiro uses her clairvoyance and appraisal as we blast a hole in the Blackbeard's pirate ship, which has no top brasses on board.
Boom*! Boom*! Boom*!
Three pirate ships belonging to the Blackbeard Pirates were sunk in quick succession.
For the Blackbeard Pirates, the Golden Skull is still an unknown ship whose capabilities are largely unknown.
There are survivors of the Blackbeard Pirates that were sunk before we came to Onigashima, so they may have known some information about the Golden Skull.
The correct answer seems to be that all the pirate ships were sunk by surprise, so no one knew how their ship was sunk.
Therefore, it seems that the Blackbeard Pirates completely underestimated the power of the Golden Skull.
Then, after sinking two more ships one after the other, the ships of the Blackbeard Pirates, which had been separated, began to gather around the mother ship.
Well, if we can do whatever we want, they will realize that it's a foolish idea to anchor in a scattered formation.
If they were scattered, they would be easy prey for the Golden Skull, which would target them one by one, and if they fired their cannons too hard, they would end up hitting each other.
"It's time."
"Master! Maopaipai is running across the sea towards the Golden Skull!"
The same development.
The Blackbeard Pirates' basic strategy is to first have Maopaipai infiltrate the enemy ship and take control of it.
It may be that pirates believe that the better the enemy's ship is, the more they want to steal it unscathed.
"Leave it to me!"
Mary says that and jumps on top of the hammer skull on the bow of the ship.
Then, after regaining her composure, she fired a deadly blow from above towards Maopaipai!
Swoooosh*ーー!
As expected, the sea splits just like Moses' Ten Commandments.
Maopaipai managed to avoid it, but the pirate ship of the Blackbeard Pirates, which was on the line between Mary and Maopaipai, broke into two.
"Let's go back!"
When I confirmed that the pirate ship was broken, I give the order to hurry back to Onigashima.
After all, it looks like the Blackbeard Pirates' fleet is about to fire a volley at the Golden Skull.
"Ori Hime, avoid to the right!"
"Kyui!"
A hail of cannonballs and magic attacks rain down on the Golden Skull from the pirate ships of the Blackbeard Pirates.
This is too dangerous...
They are first-class pirates, after all.
The sight of the incoming shells is unusually accurate.
Maybe there are people with marksmanship skills.
If it weren't for the Golden Skull's extraordinary speed and Shiro's clairvoyance, it would have definitely sunk.
"Hurry up!"
At least we succeeded in sinking six ships.
It was not a good idea to get greedy any further.
If we fought at Onigashima, we would have the advantage.
It would be no joke if we got greedy and tried to sink just one more ship, only to have the Golden Skull sunk.
There are many people in the Blackbeard Pirates who can easily kill me.
We returned to the port at great speed and put the Golden Skull in the magic bag.
ーーー
Onigashima was described as a natural fortress island with steep cliffs, but when viewed from directly above, it is shaped like an eye test C.
And there is a port in the vacant area of C.
It seems that it was originally a volcanic island, and people live at the mouth of the volcano.
When we returned to Onigashima, a defense network had already been built.
Apparently, the plan is to attack the Blackbeard Pirates all at once near the entrance of the island.
In my mind, I had thought that they would fight the pirates after drawing them further into the island, but I guess they didn't want to let them ravage the inside of the island.
Well, if you think about it, you don't want your fields to be destroyed or your house to be destroyed.
When I entered the main tent set up on the front line, I found the Sebastian brothers talking with the top brasses of the Mary Anne Pirates.
Apparently, the vampires with titles in the Drake Pirates' group were not in the main tent except for the Sebastian brothers, since they were serving the oni people.
"What's it like?"
As soon as I entered the main tent, I spoke to Anne and the Sebastian brothers.
"We're just going to shoot at them here."
Anne, dressed as a Gothic Lolita, answers.
It was just as I had expected, or rather, it was exactly the same strategy.
Well, until now, thanks to their overwhelming fighting power, the oni people had almost never been attacked by foreign enemies in Onigashima.
The last time humans attacked Onigashima was probably when the Ancestor visited.
Since that time, not a single one has remained alive.
Therefore, the correct answer is that no one knows how to conduct a siege battle.
Or rather, there was no such thing as a castle to begin with.
