General Guesclin
The Burgundy front has changed.
On the Burgundy front, General Guesclin, who is not a hero in this world, must lead 50 soldiers from ranks 1 to 50 of the Half-Moon Knights and 5,000 Burgundian soldiers who have been gathered together in a hurry.
"Do we have to defeat 80,000 Hispania troops with just this number of soldiers?"
Guesclin is quite anxious.
He saw how strong the Half-Moon Knights were in the last war, but there were only 50 of them.
He thinks they have great skill, but they are still no match for the power of numbers.
What's more, the Burgundian soldiers who had been gathered together in a hurry were all amateurs, and even though they had been trained to the limit, they were still not at a level where they could be used.
"Can I really win...?"
Guesclin begged Shiro, the tactician, to increase the number of soldiers, but Shiro was adamant that [Guesclin-san, who is good at surprise attacks and night attacks, should be able to win with this number!]
He has no idea why he's so good at surprise attacks and night attacks, which he had never done before, but he's happy to be recognized.
Even so, Guesclin thought that he would not be able to beat 80,000 people.
"General Guesclin! According to information from the Sussex Ninja Unit, there are two vampire dukes, four vampire marquises and eight vampire counts in the enemy Hispania army!"
Half-Moon Knights No. 3 reports.
"Are vampires really that prevalent in European aristocracy?"
Guesclin asks the No. 1 of the Half-Moon Knights.
"Shiro-sama says that most of the high-ranking European aristocrats and the high-ranking priests of the Vatican are vampires.
By the way, I'm also a vampire baron!"
Half-Moon Knights No. 3 answers.
"Even though you're a vampire, are you okay with sunlight?"
"Shiro-sama said that we, the Half-Moon Knights, are a different species from the vampires that inhabit Europe!
In the case of vampires in Europe, duke and marquis level vampires can be exposed to sunlight, but count class vampires can get burned if exposed to sunlight for a long time!
Even so, if you're in the baron class like me, it seems like you can only act at night!"
Half Moon Knights No. 3 gives a brief explanation.
"But because you’re a vampire, you’re immortal, right?
Shiro-sama gave me an army of 50 immortals.''
Guesclin interprets it as he sees fit.
Because he thought there was still something he could do with the immortal army.
"All other vampires are immortal, but we, the Half-Moon Knights, are long lived, but we are not immortal!"
"Why is that?"
Guesclin was shocked because he had expectations.
"Shiro-sama said she wanted us to be enhanced humans, in Gu*dam terms, instead of vampires!"
"Gu*dam?"
Guesclin tilted his head at the words he has never heard before.
"As for Gu*dam, I don’t really understand either!
I think it's probably a technical term for military strategy or something!
It seems that we are new types of vampires and we are the enhanced humans.
And Shiro-sama called us the Pull Series!"
"Pull series?”
"Yes! She said that we would all have different names, but since we have our original names, we desperately refused!
Instead, we were told to call by number at all times while we were at work!"
"If I remember correctly, the one with the smaller number has higher fighting power, right?"
"Yes! The lower the number, the higher the fighting power and the higher the salary!"
"I see, it's a commission system."
"Shiro-sama said that from now on, the Duchy of Burgundy will pay our salaries, is that okay?
My salary is quite high!"
"I'll deal with it. In return, you'll have to do your best for your salary in this war!"
"I understand! Shiro-sama has told me harshly that if I don't work three times my salary, the company won't survive!"
"Company?"
Also, he came across some technical terms that he had never heard before.
Well, he doesn't really know, but it seems like the Half-Moon Knights haven't received any half-baked training or education.
For example, the perfect mercenary.
And for some reason, they are girls.
Mercenaries in this world often betray, but the Half-Moon Knights are well-educated, so it doesn't seem like that will happen.
"Well, for Shiro-sama's sake, I have no choice but to do something."
"If it’s General Guesclin, it’s okay!
After all, Shiro-sama trusted the general the most!"
Guesclin seriously doesn't understand why Shiro trusts him so much.
However, in order to meet Shiro's expectations, he wanted to give everything he had and fight with all his might.
