Sussex Castle
"Cedric-san! It was completed on time!"
In the morning, Jonen Dracquel stormed into the tent where we Golden Skull members were sleeping.
Finally, I can enter the Sussex Castle.
My castle was being built but I couldn't enter it until now.
It stands on the ruins of Rye Castle, on the south-eastern edge of Sussex.
Well, Sussex has large cities such as Lewes, Brighton, and Chichester, but they purposely made this city the royal capital.
This is because out of all the Sussex territories, it is the closest to the mainland and is easily attacked by the Frankish Kingdom.
In fact, it was the site of a fierce battle between the Kingdom of Britain and the Crusaders, where many people died.
Thanks to that, land collection went smoothly.
Sussex Castle is a reinforced concrete castle with three floors above ground and five floors underground, made of mithril and adamantite cement developed by Shiro.
The pure white concrete castle is modern and stylish.
Or rather, it just looks like a fortress base.
"Master, this Sussex Castle is a battle-specific castle, so it doesn’t care about appearance!
However, we are working with Jonen-san to design it so that it will be a mid-century modern castle!"
Shiro reads what's in my head and quickly explains it to me.

Well, since I was living in a tent in front of the castle, I knew that there were a lot of people going in and out of the castle.

The throne room is not as grand as Mofuufu Royal Palace, but it is more luxurious than Camelot Castle.

Directly behind the throne in the throne room, a shiny golden room of about 100 tatami mats was lined with fluffy mats larger than an octuple bed.

Incidentally, the first basement floor is a private room for live-in employees.
The second basement floor is a food store, the third basement floor is an armory, and the fourth basement floor is Shiro's research facility and central facilities.
Just like the Mofuufu Royal Palace, the facilities above are a trick used to confuse the enemy, and all important facilities appear to be underground.
And the 5th floor is the inner palace. It is a harem room.
