The Impersonating Daimaou Wants to be Hated (WN): Chapter 93

Chapter 93: Thunderous Roar of Criticism

Damn it, my body still aches.

Before I knew it, I felt ashamed of myself for rubbing my thighs together while making sure that the people around me wouldn't notice.

 What a mess.

After being defeated by Aquim Bonvoul, my body was raped endlessly from morning to night by his slave (still a little girl). From time to time, as I suddenly remembered it, it makes my body hot.

I think of the girl who is as cold as ice and as beautiful as the snowfield that covers the world.

"Mina..."

"Did you say something?"

"No, it's nothing!"

I felt as if he had seen my secret when he asked me what I had unintentionally mumbled. Fortunately, this is a conference hall that can accommodate more than fifty people. Surrounding the table were representatives of the country. Discussions were heated in the face of an unprecedented crisis in the Kingdom of Light, and although some people looked at me, no one asked me about it.

"Is that so."

The big man behind meーー Gorkin, my attendant, nodded and did not ask me any more questions.

Whether out of concern for me or simple indifference, my relationship with Gorkin was extremely dry, despite the fact that we had known each other for nearly a decade and had crossed paths many times before and after deadly battles.

 Knock*, knock*, knock*.

The discussion stopped abruptly at the sudden knocking sound on the door. Several of us looked at each other. The main members of the group were already present, and there was no need to knock if it was an emergency. The only man who had not come would not have knocked in the first place.

"Who is it?"

The person who asked who was on the door on behalf of everyone was a man in his mid-forties with a quiet but clear voice. He had a body that showed at a glance that he was well-trained, and his short, close-cropped hair and fearless, scarred face suited the man's title of general.

 Ouma Shield.

He is Rosina Shield's husband and one of the seven generals in the Kingdom of Light.

"It's Aquim Bonvoul's Servant."

A young woman's voice answered Ouma.

"Come in."

"Excuse me."

Two maids entered the room. My heart leaped when I saw one of them, a girl who looked as if she were the very beauty created by the gods.

One of the maids lifted the hem of her skirt and bowed.

"I'm Laura Heibon. A maid in the service of Aquim-sama. Behind me is Mina Ten'a. She's my subordinate."

"L-Laura!? And Mina too?"

The one who raised her voice was Tiara Shield, who has come as a representative of the Shield family. No one expects her, who is still young, to do this kind of work. The actual work is done by the two people behind Tiara. In other words, she was just a decoration.

“It's been a long time, Tiara-sama. Congratulations on your graduation from the academy. For some reason, I was not able to attend the ceremony, and I am very sorry for the delay in sending my congratulations."

"Eh? Um, okay. I-It's not that. Um, L-Laura and Mina, um... are you both okay?"

For some reason, Tiara seemed taken aback by the maid's attitude. I believe that the three of them, including Mina...... were classmates, but from the outside, it doesn't look that way.  It could be said to be out of place.

"Thank you for your concern. I don't know what is worrying you, Tiara-sama, but I have been working without any inconvenience under the wonderful Aquim-sama."

"Eh? Um, M-Mina?"

"...Fine."

Throb* ❤. Mina-sama... no! My womb ached when I heard Mina's voice.

"I-I... see. Then... um, I wonder if it's good?"

Tiara seemed puzzled by the unexpected reaction of her friends, but that shouldn't be something to talk about here and now in the first place. The maid, Laura, is also acting like an outsider, and above all, the owner of those two is the oldest son of the Bonvoul family, the Knight of Light, Aquim Bonvoul.

Even if those two had negative feelings toward their master, there was no way they would talk about their true feelings in such a place. I don't know if she doesn't know that, or if she was so worried about them that she couldn't even recognize that, but I think she is a very ordinary girl compared to her older sister.

However, considering that someone who was just a student until recently has to share a seat with the country's highest executives, Tiara is probably doing rather well.

"So what did you guys come to tell us?"

Ouma asked in a calm voice to not scare the other party.

"Yes. Aquim-sama has some business he can't miss, and I'm afraid it will take some time for him to get here."

"I see. By the way, what is the reason for your late arrival? Besides, I think that this kind of job is usually brought by an attendant, but what happened to his attendant?"

"I'm sorry. I don't know the contents of master's business. And his attendant, Elana-sama, is accompanying Aquim-sama."

"Laura! Onee-chan, um... is she okay?"

Tiara interrupts their conversation. As expected, even Ouma didn't look happy.

"Tiara. You're here as a representative of the Shield family. Leave your personal questions for later."

"I-I'm sorry, Fa... General Ouma."

"I'm sorry about that. She's usually a sensible child, but it seems that my wife... Rosina Shield has been kidnapped and I think she's a little upset."

"I'm sorry to hear that."

Laura bows with the grace of a trained person. She's supposed to be the same age as Tiara, but she's quite a dignified person in front of the country's representatives.

If I'm not mistaken... she worked several jobs.

I remember Laura's profile that I got when I was checking out Aquim Bonvoul. I'll give her a little credit for that.

"However, General Ouma. I don't think it's a good idea to neglect this important meeting, even though he's a Knight of Light."

One of the ministers raised his voice, and several others agreed with him.

"That's right, that's right. And Aquim Bonvoul's inauguration as a Knight of Light is questionable. Isn't that right? Minister of Finance."

“Yes. And there are also considerable problems with his conduct."

The one who answered was a woman in her late twenties (was it twenty-nine?) with rimless glasses that hid her sharp eyes. She was born with high intelligence and had repeatedly skipped grades to become the youngest person ever to hold the position of Minister of Finance.

Knowing that such a talented woman was questioning Aquim Bonvoul's qualities, those who were similarly dissatisfied with Aquim Bonvoul gained momentum.

“In Floria-sama's absence, the Knight of Light should be leading us, but I think it would be better to not let him command.”

"I agree. I don't want our precious soldiers to die for nothing because of a stupid order in this emergency."

“There have been pleas from female soldiers to not get involved from Aquim Bonvoul as much as possible. The Minister of Finance has also mentioned his behavior, even though he is a Knight of Light, I think he is a bit too selfish."

Accusations against Aquim Bonvoul rise one after another.

It honestly feels good. Basically, the people here don't believe in Aquim Bonvoul's ability. I'll have to correct that later, but for now, I wanted to enjoy this pleasant background music. And yetーー

"I've been listening quietly for a while. But what the hell is wrong with my proud son? My son is a hero who single-handedly slayed a dragon."

Noise disrupts the pleasant music. A voice came up in defense of Aquim Bonvoul.

Staring at those around him was a middle-aged man with a spectacularly receding forehead. He had been a handsome man in his younger days, but his barrel-shaped belly left no trace of his past.

“There is a problem, Head Minister. He is a knight of light. It is in situations like this that we need him to lead us. But...... being late. The rumor of the dragon-slaying is also uncertain to begin with. When he slayed the dragon, it is said that near him was the ultimate weapon of the Shield family, which had defeated one of the four generals in the past."

"If he had tampered with the Eye of Law with the power of the Holy Sword, it would be a big problem."

"What kind of business is he doing at a time like this? I think he is just playing around with women. So, what is it, huh?"

"I cannot answer."

Laura kept her face expressionless in response to the minister's question, but I detected the slight agitation that ran through her body with my eyes trained as a knight of light.

That piece of shit. I had a hunch that he was playing with women even at a time like this. No, in the first place, is that guy really on our side?

I remember the overwhelming power that overpowered me like I was just another normal girl. He is so different from the past Aquim Bonvoul in the documents that I can only think of him as a different person.

To be honest, if that scum is trouble, I want to denounce him.

However, if I were to start denouncing Aquim Bonvoul in this situation, there would be no way back. If the Knights of Light, the highest authority during the absence of Floria-sama, were to fall out with each other, instead of being united, they would split into several factions and a useless power struggle could occur.

Should we get along with him, even if only on the surface? But, on the other hand, isn't it precisely because we are in this situation that we should get to the bottom of who he really is?

If this is the case, I should have had a proper discussion with Sharna. It seemed that I had been fucked so much that my head was not working properly. No, I guess I was thinking that even if something happened, Floria-sama would take care of it in the end.

Either way, it was unforgivable negligence on the part of the Knight of Light. I clicked my tongue in secret.

"My son would never lie. My son is a man among men. If my son claims to have slain the dragon, then, of course, he has slain it. I will not tolerate any complaints! In the first place, are you trying to make a mockery of me, who is the head minister!?"

Dedeb Bonvoul, who has the authority to give orders to all ministers, shouted at those who spoke out against Aquim Bonvoul.

Dedeb was a fairly competent man as a minister, but he was known for being too much of a family man.

"Stop! I don't think it's the time to talk about this now... Thank you for your hard work, gentlemen. I understand what you guys are saying about Aquim Bonvoul."

Perhaps unable to see the quarrel between the Dedeb faction and the anti-Dedeb faction heating up, Ouma stopped the quarrel with a rough tone.

“Thank you very much. Now, if you will excuse us."

"No, you guys should stay here and participate in the discussion. If Aquim-dono can't come, we need someone to tell him the discussion."

"……Understood."

After bowing, Laura moved with Mina to a corner of the room where they wouldn't get in the way.

"Let's go back to the topic. General Ouma, just to confirm what we discussed earlier, the army can move at any time. Is there no doubt about it?"

Sharna, who has the highest rank in the place, continued to facilitate.

"Yeah. We could go into battle right after this meeting."

"It's good that you're ready, but the important thing is, do we have a chance to win?"

One of the ministers asks a perfectly reasonable question.

"If it's just the horde of demons, it's quite possible to repel them. But the problem is the four generals who captured Floria-sama. To be frank, we don't stand a chance at this stage."

"What!?"

"No way!?"

"We can't win, even if we still have the Knights of Light!?"

It was inevitable, but Sharna's frank way of speaking caused an uproar. It is unusual for Sharna to be criticized so strongly. Everyone was trying their best not to show it, but everyone was acting strangely compared to usual. After all, Floria-sama's absence has had a big impact.

After waiting for the situation to calm down, Ouma opened his mouth.

"You say that much about the four generals?"

"As the one who matched swords with them...... no. Actually, I couldn't match them, I wonder if their power matched that of a king."

"Nonsense! That's not possible!"

"That's right. I don't know how Floria-sama was captured, but there was a hindrance. You've beaten the four generals several times in the past, right?"

Sharna was not shaken at all by the screaming opinions of the generals and ministers…… What is it? She is calm as usual, but for some reason, she seems to have more courage than usual.

“Yes. Certainly, I have beaten the four strong generals several times in the past, but the ones I beat were always the "new" ones. However, the [Demon Eye], the [Demon Teacher], and the [Slaughterer under the moonlight], were an exception."

"In other words, are you saying that those three are the real generals?"

"However, there was a person who fought and repulsed those three in the past."

Yes. In fact, Aquim Bonvoul repelled them during the Dragon incident.

"It is as you say. There is indeed a record of repulsing these three. Therefore, although there had been rumors that they were exceptional, they were thought to be only good at escaping at best."

"But it wasn't."

“Yes. I don't know if they were hiding their abilities or simply playing around. But judging from the fight with Floria-sama, these three...... are definitely exceptional, although there is some guesswork involved. "

"What should we do against such monsters? Especially the [Demon Eye] as reported in the report, if this is true, there is no way to counter it."

One of the ministers roughly tapped on a document that contained the data of the four generals.

I understand the temptation to hit things. The power to control everything just by looking at it, which cannot be guarded by any defense or magic. To put it bluntly, this is a joke. The range of effect, the duration, there are many unknowns, but if there were no limits to them, the holder of this power could easily rule the world.

Sharna, the strongest knight in the Kingdom of Light, has been affected by the "demon eye" while wearing a magical tool for mental defense. At this point, the only countermeasure would be a one-hit kill from a distance out of sight.

However, this was too difficult to do against the four generals.

"The power of the enemy is certainly enormous. But I am convinced that we will not lose."

There was no way she didn't understand this hopeless situation, but Sharna said that with an attitude full of confidence.

The mood in the room, which had begun to take on a bleak atmosphere, softened slightly at her words.

“Hoh. Saying that much, you must have something up your sleeve, right?"

"Plan... It's not something like a plan. But for us toーー"

"Because I'm here."

Baaam*!! Then, the door which seemed to have received some kind of impact from the outside blew open.

"What's going on!?"

The general and the others stood up and prepared themselves. The ministers, who were not good at fighting, were unable to move. And I, Sharna, and General Ouma decided that we didn't need to move, so we stayed in our seats.

Only he would be stupid enough to do something like this.

Alarm. Astonishment. Shock. With all eyes on him, a man entered the room, just as I had expected.

He was wearing a black shirt with the first and second buttons undone and black pants. A male thug entered the meeting room, dressed lightly as if he were about to go out for the night.

He smiled a sickening smile, as though he were mocking everyone.

"I'm sorry to keep you guys waiting. Now that this Aquim Bonvoul has arrived, there's nothing more to worry about. You small fries can go on a trip and get yourselves out of the trouble. I will protect this kingdom!"
