Training. It's different from training.
Old man Mondo's training was all about repetition. Tackle one thing honestly.
The first thing I did was dodge the old man's attack. But this is difficult.

What do you think of when you hear the word slime?

Its body looks like a round, transparent water balloon, and inside it is a magic stone that serves as its core. The surface of the body is covered with a thin film of acid, which melts things when touched.
However, this acid is weak. It dissolves things, but it takes about half a day to dissolve clothing. If it gets on your skin, you will first feel an itch, and after a day of exposure, the acid is enough to cause the skin to finally be sore.
Basically, it is a monster that ignores people, but slimes that have learned the taste of humans may attack. At that time, of course, people will subdue it.
After defeating the slime, you must take good care of your weapons, or they will soon be damaged. Although they are weak, they will dissolve when exposed to acid.
This is the slime of this world.
I heard this story from old man Mondo in the forest. Because right now, we're heading towards that slime's nest.
"The next training is to cut the slime. Well, let's start by looking."
When we arrived at the slime's nest, the old man handed me the sword he had picked up from somewhere and said, [Try cutting it].
I did as I was told and slashed the slime.
The slime sprayed its bodily fluids all over the area like a water balloon breaking open. I ducked it with a slight movement.
"The sword may not be the sharpest, but most swords end up like this. But if you master the art of swordsmanship, you can do this. Watch."
Saying that, the old man pulls out the sword he is using for fighting against people and confronts the slime. And a flash.

The old man wiped his sword with a wet towel, sheathed it, and returned.
