Conclusion of the Monster Disturbance
Fenrir is a magical beast with various legends.
It is said in some books that Fenrir was a magical beast that influenced the course of time, serving a Hero at one time and a Demon King at another.
"The fact that Fenrir has become Light-sama's familiar makes it more likely that Light-sama is a Hero."
Yes, Sebas answered with a tired look.
"That's not good, is it? It means that there is a greater chance that I will be handed over to the church, right?"
Sebas nodded with a serious expression.
"The Church will want Light-sama because of the high possibility of you being a Hero, and in the sense that Fenrir will come with you. It's enough to make it possible to make a deal between the church and the lord."
"I don't want to go to church. Can't we make this less important?"
At this point, Bear-san interjected.
"Only the four of us here know that it's Fenrir. In that case, we'll have no choice but to treat it as just a wolf."
The Deputy Knight Commander agrees with this opinion.
"That sounds better. Let's just say that Light-sama solved the problem by [Taming] the magical beast, and report it to the Baron family as a normal subjugation."
Sebas answered.
"Understood. I will make the report to the lord. If we add that the materials from the magical beast were distributed as a reward to adventurers, he will not pursue the Adventurer's Guild."
I'm starting to feel sorry for making them tell all kinds of lies...
"I'm sorry everyone... I think I did something unnecessary..."
Then the three people panicked.
"No! It's nothing to worry about, Light-sama! Originally, Light-sama's ability should be appreciated. Even so, the lord who treats you coldly is the wrong one."
Sebas comforted me, and the Deputy Knight Commander nodded in response.
"Yes, that's right. I don't understand why he would mistreat such a talented son."
Bear-san answered while scratching his head.
"I'm not saying that the situation wasn't troubling, but if boy hadn't taken Fenrir and the fight had gone on as it did, both the adventurers and the knights might have suffered considerable damage. In that sense, the result was the best possible. Boy should be proud of this result!"
Saying so, the three encouraged me.
The three then explained the situation to the other adventurers, the knights, and the people of the village, and declared an end to the monster disturbance.
The villagers were happy with this declaration, and there was talk of a hurried banquet, but the adventurers and knights tried to decline, saying they hadn't done anything, but the villagers insisted.
After the party started, I had a hard time.
Because I resolved this commotion alone, I was praised by those around me.
Besty said, [As expected, Aniki is amazing!]
I feel uncomfortable because I'm being looked at with a look of respect while saying something like that.
I feel embarrassed if they compliment me all the time... On the contrary, I feel apologetic.
Such an unbearable banquet continued until late at night, and the next morning, the knights and adventurers returned to the capital from the pioneer village.
After returning to the capital, Sebas, Deputy Knight Commander, and Bear-san reported the incident to the Guild master and Knight Commander Malberk at the Adventurer's Guild.
At first, they were skeptical about our early return, but when they saw the report and the actual Ginko, they were convinced.
I was also able to get them to cooperate with the false report to the Baron and the false cover for Ginko.
Grandpa Malberk was in a good mood the whole time, probably because he was so happy with my performance.
Thus, my first overnight stay outside ended with Fenrir as my companion.
Thanks for the chapter
