Light-kun, Now 4-Years-Old
I turned four years old.
Whether it is the result of my daily training or just my growth spurt, I have become able to handle a wooden sword quite well.
Lately, off-duty knights have started visiting me and giving me sword lessons just for fun.
It seems Grandpa Malberk is paying attention to me.
Sword practice is more successful when there are people around. And it's more fun than anything else.
"That's right! That's the stance. Just try hitting it! No, it's amazing! The power is still low, but the trajectory of the sword is amazing!"
I get embarrassed when I get praised like that all the time.
To be honest, I feel like I'm cheating because it's all thanks to my [Swordsmanship] skill, so I don't know what to say...
"Wow, Light-sama's sword is so beautiful that I think you have the [Swordsmanship] skill. As expected, you are called a child prodigy."
Ahh, that's right...
I know that the servants in the main building are gossiping about me as a child prodigy after seeing how much I study and how much I practice magic.
"Um, it's embarrassing to call me a child prodigy, so is it okay if you quit it? I would like to have one more practice......"
The knight scratches his head and chuckles.
"I'm sorry, it is rude! Then please come at me once more!"
With that, I readjust my sword, take a step forward, and attack.
In the afternoon, I practice magic. With Sebas watching over me, I use [Life Magic].
About half a year after I started practicing magic, I learned the [Life Magic] skill...
That's what I decided to say.
I thought it would be easier to practice that way. Honestly, I don't feel like I'm practicing even with [Life Magic], but my body needs it since I don't have magic skills.
Right now, what I'm really practicing is quickly kneading the magic of each attribute.
I do this practice when I am alone before bed.
In the morning, I exercised to build my stamina and trained with the sword. Study or practice magic in the afternoon.
I continue to do that every day.
Well, let's talk a little bit about the recent Baron family.
Adio finally graduated this year. It seems that the graduation celebration and the wedding ceremony were held at the same time in conjunction with the spring social gathering.
Originally, Adio was supposed to return to the territory this year with his wife-to-be, but that did not happen.
Apparently, the person who became his wife refused to go to the Baron territory……
Since he wants to spend some time in the royal capital, it seems that his work will mainly involve negotiating with other families and central bureaucrats at the baron's house in the royal capital.
Felika is a second year student this year. He says he is doing well in his studies, but he is struggling with his knightly classes.
Stefano looks tired after returning from the spring social circle.
It seems that Adio's thing and his dealings with his wife seem to have taken a toll on him.
Lilei is still the same.
Recently, Grandpa Malberk seems to have given up on Lilei, and instead of going to the main building, he starts visiting the annex directly where I am.
As usual, the Baron family doesn't seem to be interested in me.
They used to treat me like a tumor, but now they treat me like I don't exist.
Frankly, that's fine.
I'm not interested in the Baron family either, but I don't know when they'll hand me over to the church, kick me out, or try to make me disappear, so I have to be vigilant in gathering information.
