Dungeon Crawling is a Staple of Otherworldly Stuff
Yep. A dungeon is a classic.
Therefore, there is enough adventure in one dungeon to create one work.
That's what I thought.
I entered the dungeon with Rain in high spirits, but all that came out were goblins. At this point, Rain's face clouded over. After all, she had no good memories of goblins.
After 20 minutes of defeating goblins, we found a staircase that led down to the bottom of the dungeon. Rain is taken aback. I understand. I might have the same look on my face.
A little more... maze-like interior that will make you get lost, trap-like objects that will make you feel nervous, and glowing moss showing a fantastic sight...
I was expecting something like that, but the dungeon here is nothing like that. All you have to do is just go straight through the cave and take out the goblins that come at you head-on with no surprise attacks or anything. Besides, the time it took is only 20 minutes......
"Rain... it might be different on the second floor... Let's try a little harder, okay?"
"...............Yeah."
I went downstairs while encouraging Rain, who was clearly getting depressed.
The second level. Orcs came out. The path is straight.
I hope you can understand my and Rain's feelings.
The third level. Probably the last layer......
As expected... the path was straight. But there are no monsters. We reached the back at a faster pace than the first and second floors.
The space in the back was about the size of a gymnasium, and further back there was a large, black magic stone that shone mysteriously.
In the center stood a minotaur, probably the boss of this dungeon, holding a huge axe.
"Rain. It's the first time we will face a Minotaur. When I set the timing..."
"No. Onii-sama, I will face it alone..."
Rain interrupted my words and ran towards the Minotaur.
And with a flash, she cut off the Minotaur from the shin down. And before the Minotaur's stance collapsed, the sword was swung one more time, then two more times.
The hand holding the ax is cut off, and the head flies away.
It is over. The moment I thought that...
Rain unleashes more attacks. And she's still cutting down the fallen Minotaur.
I felt scared. She must have accumulated a lot of anger in such a short time... It was the first time I saw Rain so angry... She was expressionless, didn't say anything, and the sword was swung down nonchalantly...
All I could do was freeze for a while and stare at Rain.
I finally came to my senses and stopped Rain from behind with force.
"Rain! I understand how you feel, but it's over so please stop!"
"...............Yes."
In front of Rain, who finally calmed down, there were pieces of meat scattered so finely that it was hard to tell whether it was a Minotaur or not.
I recovered only the magic stone and axe from the minotaur, which was no longer useful as material or meat, and searched for a treasure chest.
There were none.
Disappointed once again, we decided to check the dungeon core. It was the only valuable thing in this dungeon.
I looked at it with [God's Eye]. And I learned the secret of this dungeon. Why was it built this way......
The answer is that the person who created this dungeon was an amateur. In short, it was the first tutorial built by an amateur.
The creator is a Demon King called [Demon King of Wrath] Cyceria.
I know the name and brief history from some books. If I remember correctly, it was a Demon King who lived before the founding of the Empire and was good at building dungeons, and Cyceria's greatest masterpiece dungeon is called the [Labyrinth of the Abyss]. It was written in a book that I read that the Empire was founded when humans acquired this dungeon.
This is the first work of such a Demon King... it is kind of disappointing.
When I explained to Rain what I saw, she felt a little better.
"It's embarrassing that I made fun of such an amazing Demon King's first work..."
Rain said with a slightly apologetic smile.
Now, even though it's such an amazing work by a Demon King, I don't want to leave it empty-handed, so I'll take the dungeon core without reservation.
This core seemed to be able to store a large amount of mana, and seemed to be quite good. And it was the first time that my [God's Eye] showed the identity of the material as [unknown], so it was a surprising item. Maybe it's something great.
We got out of the dungeon by teleportation. We completed our first dungeon raid in about an hour and a half.
I had no choice but to play with Rain in front of the dungeon. We were both using magic to mess around with each other.
After I blew a breeze from under Rain and lifted up her skirt, she said, [Jeez, Onii-sama is naughty ♡], and I got excited...
We did it even though it was outdoors.
Rain was also excited, probably because it was her first time doing it outside.
As we were killing time doing this, the time flew by and it was time for dinner. As promised, Ginko came back and the first thing she said was...
(You guys... it's too much...)
Apparently, she sensed what we were doing by smell while transporting the orcs she had hunted along the way.
And she was careful and didn't appear in front of us.
Rain and I blushed, and Ginko was taken aback.
Tftc.
