Lakeside Log Cabin
While I'm defeating iron slimes, I'm also busy making gravel to make cement and clay molds for molding iron.
Making clay molds is super easy.
All you have to do is pick up a suitable straight stick, make a mold of it in clay soil, and once the clay has hardened, pull out the stick.
After about 3 days of work, I was able to make about 10 clay molds, so I tried pouring dead iron slime into the clay molds.
"Has it hardened?"
After waiting for about three hours, the clay mold was broken and a two-meter iron rod appeared from inside.
"It went well!"
I continue to pour the remains of the iron slime into the remaining clay mold.
After waiting for three hours, I completed 10 iron bars.
"Now I can mass-produce iron bars!"
I immediately made a clay mold using the 10 finished iron bars.
"This is good!"
It will take half a day for the soil to dry, so I will go hunting for iron slime.
After some trial and error, I now hunt down the iron slime by shooting air bullets from my fingertips without using a staff.
Shooting with your finger in the shape of a gun had a higher chance of hitting than shooting an air bullet with the staff.
The power of the magic is a little inferior, but it is enough to destroy the iron slime's magic core, so there is no problem.
That was how I was defeating the iron slime, but since I reached lvl.15, I could not raise my level at all.
It may be time to challenge the mithril slime.
However, I still don't have enough iron, so I have to continue hunting iron slimes for a while.
And so, while leveling up, I was building the cabin.
Within a month, the iron bars and cement materials were in place, and the construction of the foundation was ready.
Once the steel frame has been installed in the formwork, all that remains is to pour cement into the formwork.
The only materials used to make cement are gravel, water, and dead sticky slime.
Mix it up in a wooden bucket and put it into the magic bag.
This way, I can proceed with the work without worrying about the cement hardening.
I poured cement from my magic bag into the formwork for the foundation.
It would be hard work if done on Earth, but it would be easy if done with a magic bag. After all, the magic bag isn't heavy.
I made the cement in five batches and poured it into the formwork from the magic bag.
Two days later, the day came to remove the formwork.
I joyfully removed the formwork.
"Yep. It's a great success for my first time!"
I was so happy that I went straight to cutting the dried lumber.
When I think of a lakeside villa, it should be a log cabin.
A log cabin standing by the lake.
"Yep. That kind of picture!"
I use the wind magic, air cutter, to cut the materials and pile them up on the base.
With my magic bag, I can do the heavy lifting.
I can also use flight magic, so even high places are no problem for me.
I cut the materials and built the roof, and after working tirelessly, I was able to assemble the roof in just two days.
Well, since I'm a Lich, I don't have to sleep.
That's why I will be living in an 8LDK one-story log cabin from today.
There's still a lot of work to do, such as the interior and waterproofing the roof, but I'm excited to be in a house with a roof for the first time in a while.
"I also want a table and a bed."
Of course, the bed is a triple bed.
This log cabin is also a temporary residence for my harem.
Eventually, I plan to build a castle at the bottom of this dungeon and live there, but for now, I'll be spending my time in this stylish log cabin by the lake.
Well, I'm pretty tired today, so I think I'll try to sleep. The day is bright, and I'm a dark attribute Lich, so I'm weak in the morning and afternoon.
That's what I thought when I went to sleep, and to my surprise, I was able to sleep.
Liches doesn't need to sleep, but I seem to be able to sleep normally.
However, I slept on the floor, so my neck was sore.
For now, I'll just make the bed right away.
The basics of a harem is, after all, the bed.
