Episode 54: Character Introductions So Far

 Since the series has been running for a long time and I have had a lot of time off, I will introduce the characters up to this point. If you are interested, please feel free to read them.

 When the explanation ends with the word (backstory), I hope you will think of it as small information that does not have much to do with the story but is just a small detail.

* Some of the characters deviate from the initial plot, so if there is a discrepancy with the story, please assume that this information is correct.

~ Main character side ~

・ Ritia Fregrance

 -The main heroine of this story.

 -16 years old.

 -The daughter of the Fregrance family, one of the kingdom's five great noble families, and the only child born to the current head of the family and his legitimate wife. Incidentally, she has a 10-year-old half-sister.

 -Her personality is tsundere. Basically, she only shows her tsun-side to the outside world, but she shows her dere-side only to those whom she really trusts deep in her heart. (Currently, only the main character and her closest aide, Glass.)

 -She has a relationship with the main character to solve the successor problem of the Fregrance family, and now she is carrying a child in her belly.

・ Mashiro

 -20 years old.

 Originally, her ancestors were from the Far East region, and a commoner family that took root in this region over many years (backstory).

 -Her personality is a bit like an older sister.

 -She is the same age as the main character, has been with him since he was a child, and is still by his side as one of his maids. The protagonist's father has been impressed by how well they have gotten along since childhood and has offered her the position of the first concubine.

・ Armes

 -18 years old.

 -She is a brown-skinned girl from a village that is discriminated against in the empire. One day, she ran away from her village with her parents to seek asylum, and finally met with the main character.

 -She has a serious personality. But in fact, she wants to be spoiled. Since she was brought up strictly by the knight Elfie to be the first knight of the main character, she rarely shows that side now.

 -She and the main character are step-siblings.

 -The reason why the main character's father allows his son and Armes to have a relationship as brother and sister in law, and why the main character and Armes are not blamed for having sex is actually because of Armes' hometown (Please stay tuned for future developments).

 -She is also the second biggest breasted character in the story so far.

・ Knight Elfie

 -60 years old. She is a woman, although she is not described much in the story.

 -She is the oldest knight in the main character's family and is trusted by almost everyone in the family, including the main character.

 -It is a knight's duty to lay down his life for his master's house. She is a knight with such a motto. The only person who can correct the mistake and admonish the main character, even if he is the next head of the family.

 -Actually, she is the grandmother of the clumsy girl who worked as a hot water fetcher for the young lady in Episode 24 (backstory).

・ The Main Character's Father

 -47 years old. Gentle personality.

 -The way he acts and behaves toward the current head of the Fregrance family is essentially correct, and it is not appropriate for him to speak out directly to his face like the main character does.

 -He has a deep affection for his wife, whom he welcomed from another family, and even after her death, he remained single without a concubine.

・ Croche Rask

 -27 years old.

 -He is the next head of a noble family under the Fregrance family, which has a territory next to the main character's house.

 -The Croche family was once saved by the deceased main character's mother, and the family even has a family motto that they will surely repay the favor sooner or later (backstory).

 -Although they are of the same rank as the main character's family, they are actually under them.

・ The Head of the Fregrance Family

 -65 years old.

 -He is the current head of the Fregrance family, one of the kingdom's five great noble families, and is known as the sword of the kingdom.

 -He has no male heir, and after thinking about his old age and future prospects, he decided to let the main character with his beloved daughter Ritia have sex, and their son will become his successor.

 -He and the king are the same age and used to play together when they were young (backstory).

・ Glass

 -20 years old. Lady Ritia's maid.

 -Originally from a noble family by birth, she became a commoner after losing her home due to the kingdom's economic problems that occurred several decades ago.

 -Because she belonged to the Fregrance family faction, she was picked up by Lady Ritia as her maid. As such, she is the only person who enjoys the immense trust of Lady Ritia, who has been with her since she was a child.

 -At the moment, she is engaged to be married to the main character, but because she is aware of Lady Ritia's feelings, she would like to decline if possible.

~ Kingdom side ~

・ Prince Lim

 -17 years old.

 -He is the next king, and although he has two younger brothers, he is almost certain to become the next king.

 -He is a coward with the qualities of a brat.

 -During the expedition to the imperial capital, he was attacked at night and is now on the run for his life.　

 -He was originally engaged to Lady Ritia, but due to the family situation of the Fregrance family, the engagement was called off. The prince's sister was supposed to be given to him, but due to a scheme by the Brigitte family, the prince's bride is now Brigitte Aiz.

・ Brigitte Aiz

 -17 years old.

 -The daughter of the Brigitte family, one of the kingdom's five great noble families. Her family's territory is near the Western Federation, and in recognition of her past achievements, she is in charge of diplomacy with the Federation.

 -The reason why she and Lady Ritia do not get along well is because the rivalry between their families has been inherited by their daughters.

 -The Brigitte family is at odds with the Fregrance family over the policy of reconciliation with the Empire, and the Brigitte family, which hated the Empire the most, is extremely hostile to the Fregrance family, which is seeking reconciliation.

 -Incidentally, the Brigitte family is the richest family in the kingdom.

・ Viscount Fabian

 -44 years old.

 -One of the rootless nobility, who instead of owning land, receives a title and can call himself nobility.

 -He was the commander of the supply unit of the Imperial Expeditionary Force. However, he has now left the front line to attend a faction meeting of the Bamingham family. He was therefore the only one who was not involved in the night attack and subsequent retreat of the kingdom troops.

 -He was once a loan shark at a time when most of the kingdom's nobles were struggling financially. For this and other reasons, he is regarded as a bitter enemy by the main character and other nobles (backstory).

・ General Vuerg Be'mond (deceased)

 -35 years old. He was killed in a night attack by the enemy during the expedition to the Imperial capital.

 -He was the head of the Be'mond family, one of the five great nobles of the kingdom, and was the actual commander of the Imperial Expeditionary Force.

 -The Be'mond family itself is second from the bottom among the Kingdom's five great noble families and is not very powerful in terms of position, but his solid attitude toward his work is highly regarded within the Kingdom.

 -He is also a nobleman in charge of the kingdom's infrastructure, such as the designing of the city's districts and castles (backstory).

・ Bamingham family

 -The head of the family and the nobles involved have not yet appeared (there are branch nobles, but no one is involved yet).

 -The first noble family in the kingdom to become a rootless noble, they are now the youngest of the kingdom's five great nobles.

 -Almost all of their own faction is composed of rootless nobles, and it has a friendly relationship with the Brigitte family.

 -They often use this relationship to increase the size of their faction and increase their influence, and they are recognized as an unusual noble family within the kingdom.

~ Empire side ~

・ Commander of the Knight of the White Rose

 -Age unknown. Woman.

 -She is from a village that suffers from discrimination against the brown-skinned race prevalent in the empire. In other words, she is from the same village as Armes.

 -Appointed as the leader of the Knight of the White Rose when it was established under the direct control of Her Majesty the Queen.

・ Lieutenant General Rojisko

 -Late 60's. Male. One of the thirteen nameless members of the Empire's underground organization.

 -He is so loyal to his country that he even sacrifices his limbs for his country, and has achieved many successes in the war against the Principality. He is therefore a hero of the empire, and according to one theory, he may or may not have been involved in the founding of the Knight of the White Rose. Incidentally, he is born blind in one eye, which has nothing to do with the war.

・ Second Lieutenant Frau.

 -Around 20s. Woman. One of the thirteen nameless members of the Empire's underground organization.

 -She is in charge of intelligence and is skilled at immediately scrutinizing information and detecting deceptive actions.

 -Although she is the captain of a musketeer unit, only a small number of people know her existence.

 -Incidentally, she is the most big-breasted character in the story. Because she is an enemy, she has no sex scenes.

・ Jeshilka

 -Late teens. Woman.

 -A girl who belongs to the Knight of the White Rose and appeared in episode 40.

 -Her first battle as a Knight was against the Kingdom Army that came on the expedition to the Imperial Capital, and she lost one of her close friends.

~ Addition ~

・ Landowning nobles

 -The term for a noble family that has maintained and managed its land within the kingdom since ancient times. Originally, this form of nobility was common in the kingdom until the emergence of the rootless nobility.

・ Rootless nobles

 -The term given to those who were granted titles and monthly salaries as nobility instead of land as a reward.
